Bill Kaldis

Bill Kaldis is Senior Vice President of Logistics at Maple Leaf Foods Inc.

Mr. Kaldis is responsible for pursuing functional excellence across the logistics areas that support the management of Maple Leaf and delivering on customer expectations at the lowest possible cost. Other areas of responsibility include developing the logistics talent base, overseeing the standardization of best practices and adherence to standardized processes, and leading the Logistics Functional Council and the Centralized Purchasing Group.

Mr. Kaldis has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in supply chain, manufacturing, and the strategic application of technology in both Canada and the United States. Prior to joining Maple Leaf, Mr. Kaldis held the positions of Executive Vice President, Supply Chain, and Senior Vice President, Operations, at KIK Custom Products, one of North America’s largest custom manufacturers of laundry, household cleaners, over-the-counter medicated, pharmaceutical, and health & beauty care products for both National Brand and Retailer Brand consumer products. He also previously held senior positions in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations strategy at Kraft Foods, where he oversaw the development and implementation of several strategic operational improvement initiatives and delivered millions in cost savings across the business.
Mr. Kaldis began his career with Accenture where he was responsible for leading the implementation of manufacturing information systems and productivity improvement projects for clients in a number of manufacturing industry segments.
In 1985, Mr. Kaldis graduated from Concordia University with a Master of Business Administration and received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in 1983.
