Jeff Hutchinson is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Maple Leaf Foods Inc. In this capacity he has executive responsibility for the Company’s information technology, information management and implementing the Enterprise Resource Program (ERP) strategy for Maple Leaf Foods.
Jeff joined the Company in 2010. Prior to joining Maple Leaf, Mr. Hutchinson was Chief Information Officer – North America (CIO-NA) for the global Dannon/Danone corporation and was responsible for their Strategic Program Office.
Prior to Dannon/Danone, Jeff was a senior executive / partner with Accenture (a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company). Mr. Hutchinson demonstrated both strategic and hands-on experience in enabling his European and America’s clients to achieve greater business value, efficiency and growth from strategic, process and organizational alignment with enabling IS/IT (especially in SAP environments).
Jeff believes in establishing strong cross industry network relationships. For example, he was recently selected as the Vice Chair of the Grocery Manufacturing Association’s (GMA) IS Committee, he is an invited presenter at SIM, he sits on CIO Magazine’s national board of advisors, and was recently honored as one of Consumer Goods Technology’s (CGT) 2009 Visionaries and sits on CGT’s Editorial Advisor Board.
Jeff has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for Bryant University, and MBA from the University of New Haven, and Masters of Science in Software Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is currently a Doctoral student in Computing, Pace University class of 2010.
