Our voluntary expanded product recall includes all production from the Bartor Road facility in Ontario (Establishment # 97B). This is a further precautionary measure, notwithstanding the fact that there is no evidence of Listeria contamination in product beyond the production lines originally under investigation.
How do I determine if a Maple Leaf product is part of the recall?
There are two identifiers, a Crown Seal or an Inkjet imprint, on Maple Leaf products that will help you determine if the product is part of the recall.
|
Look for the Crown Seal with the establishment number (97B) printed underneath the crown. If 97B is not printed with the Crown Seal look for an inkjet imprint of the Establishment Number (Est97B) near the Best Before Date. |
